The best and the worst indications for zirconia
Zirconia today is probably one of the most popular all-ceramic materials in dentistry. Indeed, it combines very high mechanical properties to minimize the wall thickness of restorations and is available in multichromatic discs/blocks to enhance the esthetics of full-contour restorations. It offers different translucency levels and it covers indications from single units to long-span bridges. This seems to make it a universal material in fixed prosthetics. The versatile use of zirconia is no secret; however, some of its properties limit the clinical application, especially in the esthetic zone. So what are the best and the worst indications for zirconia?
In this webinar, you will learn more about the following themes:
- Dental zirconia material science
- Weaknesses of zirconia
- Best indications
