Achieving a consistent and esthetic restoration is the priority for today’s one appointment dentistry. The objective of this virtual workshop is to provide a theoretical and hands-on training in the one-step staining and glazing technique using IPS e.max CAD for a posterior restoration.

  • Using the Shade Navigation App to assist in selecting the optimal IPS e.max CAD block for every restoration

About Jerry Varner, CDT:
Jerry has over 22 years experience as a dental laboratory technician and educator.  He received his training as a dental technician in the United States Navy, Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas in 1998.  Prior to joining Ivoclar Vivadent, Inc., Jerry taught Dental Laboratory Technology at the Department of Defense Dental Laboratory School at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.  In addition, he also served as dental technician in both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force.  After his retirement from the Air Force in 2016 he worked for the Department of Defense at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada as a Dental Technician and later joined Ivoclar Vivadent as a Technical Consultant working in the Technical Services and Education Department.
