Digital Dentures Clinical Workflow – Part 2
The significant advantages of digital dentures compared to traditional denture treatment presents a compelling reason for the clinician to engage into this new technology.
Unquestionably digital technology can enhance the service that can be provided for our patients. However, the transition from traditional denture care to digital workflows can at first appear to be somewhat intimidating for a clinician. New terminology, new materials, new techniques, etc. These two series webinars are designed to breakdown the various digital denture workflows and parallel them to traditional workflows. This step by step presentation will take the mystery from the digital process and facilitate the clinician to easily transition their removable practice. This program will be divided into two parts.
Will provide a brief review of complete denture clinical workflows with emphasis on "immediate denture", "impressions and bite in denture" and "wax rim & bite" workflows. These workflows are similar in regards to the fact that there are built in references (scanned dentures, pre-extracted teeth or wax rims) that can guide the new denture design.
